Who would have thought 10-15 years ago that people would be ordering food online right from their computers? Well, it's happening. There are full-blown grocery
services sprouting up in many communities where you can order your whole grocery list online and have it delivered hours later. The largest markets for online food,
however, are food gifts. Just like we can order flowers and have them send to a distant friend or loved one, we can do the same with food. Food baskets make great
gifts, particularly for college students away from home for the first time, as do fruit baskets, chocolates, cookies, candy, wine, even meats and cheeses.
