Everybody should have a hobby. Instead of just sitting and watching TV, you can be working on your hobby while watching TV or, pardon the blasphemy, turn

things out of wood or other materials, needlecrafts like sewing, knitting, crocheting, and quilting, building models, assembling and laminating jigsaw puzzles,
scrapbooking, screen printing, or anything else you can imagine. It's a good idea to introduce your children to a variety of hobbies while they are young with the hope that they will latch onto at least one or two hobbies that they can take into adulthood with them and share with their own children. Children and adults who enjoy hobbies are more likely to be happy, deal with stress better, solve problems better, and live fuller, healthier lives.
